To the International Parrot Symposium Dublin Ireland

Friday 26th June – Sunday 28th June 2009

We are delighted to welcome speakers and delegates from all over the world to the first International Parrot Symposium to be held in Ireland. The conference will take place in the famous 15th century Trinity College in the heart of Dublin.
The smuggling of endangered animals is the third most widespread form of illegal trafficking after drugs and arms. We have 16 keynote speakers from all over the world... Eastern Australia, Brazil, Hawaii, California, Italy, Denmark, Portugal, and Tenerife. We will have delegates from South Africa, Singapore, Canada, Europe and the U.S. All have something to give and all have something to take away. The program will include presentations on all aspects of parrots including conservation in the wild, breeding and conservation in captivity, behaviour and understanding of the species and avian veterinary and nutrition. Any surplus income from sponsorship and registration will be divided between conservation and sanctuary organizations.
